Finding a cheap place to live often takes time. Therefore, we strongly advise you to contact your educational institution shortly after admission for information on accommodation possibilities. Often the administrative offices will be able to guide you on this matter, and in some cases you are guaranteed a place to live.
In general, there are various accommodation opportunities: a room in a dormitory (a kollegium in Danish), is priced between 300-400 euro/month; room in a private family's home is priced between 200-500 euro/month. There is also an option for apartment for renting an apartment, either on an individual basis or together with other students where prices vary considerably.
Accomodation before you arrival
If you like, you can have accommodation arranged before your arrival in Denmark. There are 3 different dormitories located in Nykøbing F. If you choose this option we will be able to help you make all the arrangements so you can move directly in to your new home as soon as you arrive.
